independence day is one of our favorite holidays. one: because we are proud to be americans. two: we are grateful for all of those that have sacrificed and sacrifice daily to defend our freedoms. three: we love the tradition of it all, and for us, it has always involved the lake, good food, family, music, annual beer tasting contest, the cliffs firework show and/or uncle kenny-bo's firework show, and relaxation. in honor of impending festivities, here are some of my favorite pics from the past few years....
